Job summary

Wild Cat Oil Tools seeks a Driver to safely transport tools, equipment, and materials between yards, job sites, and customer locations, while adhering to DOT regulations and the company vehicle policy. You will perform pre-trip inspections, secure loads, and maintain clear communication with dispatch and customers.

You will log daily trips, notices issues promptly, assist with loading and unloading, follow lifting techniques, wear PPE, and contribute to a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred
  • CDL license required
  • Trade/Technical school diploma will be considered

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport tools, equipment, and materials between yards, job sites, and customer locations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in safe working condition.
  • Ensure on-time deliveries and pickups per dispatch instructions and job schedules.
  • Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the company-provided vehicle.
  • Adhere to Wildcat’s vehicle policy and all DOT regulations, including hours of service and safety requirements.
  • Secure loads properly to prevent shifting during transport.
  • Complete and submit daily trip logs, mileage reports, and fuel receipts.
  • Report any vehicle issues, safety concerns, or incidents immediately to management.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch, yard personnel, and customers.
  • Update dispatch on job progress, delays, or any issues encountered during transport.
  • Wear Wildcat provided PPE.
  • Assist with loading and unloading equipment as needed.
  • Follow proper lifting techniques and use equipment such as forklifts when required.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities directed by supervisor

Job description

The Driver ensures safe and timely transportation of tools, equipment, and materials while adhering to Wildcat’s vehicle policy and DOT regulations. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, load security, documentation, and communication with dispatch. This role upholds QHSE standards, supports operational needs, and maintains a clean and organized work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Your primary responsibility is to ensure a safe work environment. If you see a safety concern, stop work and take immediate action to resolve it.
  • Safely transport tools, equipment, and materials between yards, job sites, and customer locations.
  • Ensure timely deliveries and pickups, following dispatch instructions and job schedules.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition.
  • Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the company-provided vehicle.
  • Adhere to Wildcat’s vehicle policy and all DOT regulations, including hours of service and safety requirements.
