Job summary

Saludabaptist is seeking a dependable driver to greet clients and assist staff, handling daily pickups including drop box pickups and ensuring timely, safe transport.

Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, maintaining logs, and communicating issues; a High School Diploma or GED and a valid license are required, CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist clients, employees, volunteers, customers, and others.
• Manage daily scheduled and unscheduled pickups including drop box pickups.
• Ensure all pickups and drops are inspected and completed promptly.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections for fluids, brakes, tires, belts, and hoses.
• Maintain clear communication about vehicle condition.
• Conduct weekly cleanliness checks inside and outside the vehicle.
• Record maintenance and daily logs.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Consistently creates a welcoming and professional environment by greeting and assisting clients, employees, volunteers, customers, etc.
• Responsible for daily scheduled and unscheduled pickups (including drop box pick ups)
• Ensures all pick up and drops are thoroughly inspected and done in a timely manner
• Performs daily inspections of vehicle with regards to fluid levels, brakes, tires, belts and hoses etc.
• Maintains proper channels of communication regarding condition of vehicle
• Performs weekly checks regarding cleanliness inside and out of the vehicle
• Records maintenance and daily log sheets
• Performs other duties as needed

Physical Demands:

• Ability to be punctual and attend work on a regular and consistent basis
• The person in this position needs to wear appropriate safety clothing and shoes. This includes lift belts, gloves, steel toe shoes etc.
• Must be able to stand 70% of the time
• Will be expected to lift large equipment not to exceed 75+ pounds without appropriate moving assistance (equipment) and safety gear

Minimum Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma, or GED
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record; CDL license preferred
