Job summary

Standard Supply is seeking a reliable Driver & Warehouse Associate to join our operations team in a hybrid role. You will split time between driving to deliver orders and performing hands-on warehouse duties to keep operations smooth.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of verifiable box truck experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. DOT screening and background checks will be required. Join a family‑style, team‑oriented culture with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a box truck or equivalent within the last 3–5 years.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Ability to read and speak English well enough to understand traffic signs and documents.
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly.
• Comfort with sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, and moving throughout the day.
• Experience climbing ladders and handling items in high/low spaces.
• Experience handling large, bulky, or oddly shaped items.
• Willingness to pass a background check, drug screening, and DOT physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Work in the warehouse loading/unloading and preparing orders.
• Use a tablet for delivery routes and RF scanning.
• Perform basic vehicle checks and report issues.

This hybrid role offers the best of both worlds—hitting the road to make timely deliveries and working hands-on in our warehouse to keep things running smoothly.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Driving a box truck safely and responsibly (at least 1 year of experience required)
• Delivering orders with professionalism and care—customer signature included
• Need to be able to use a tablet for the delivery routes
• Loading and unloading trucks with precision
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance checks and reporting issues to the branch manager
• Pulling and preparing orders in the warehouse using a forklift or push-cart
• Use RF Scan Gun Technology to perform daily tasks
• Following all warehouse procedures for pickups and product handling
• Pitching in with other tasks as needed—because teamwork makes the dream work!

What You Bring to the Team

We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the physical stamina to thrive in a hands-on role.

Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a box truck or equivalent within the last three to five years of employment history.
• A clean driving record (no major or repeated violations)
• Read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs and signals, communicate with law enforcement and document reports and records as required by the Federal Code of Regulations.
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly
• Comfortable sitting, standing, pushing, pulling, and moving throughout the day
• Able to climb ladders, bend, kneel, twist, and reach in high/low spaces
• Experience handling large, bulky, or oddly shaped items
• Willingness to pass a background check, drug screening and DOT Physical Exam
