Job summary

Acacia Network is seeking a Driver to operate company vehicles, transporting clients, patients and staff across New York locations. You will maintain cleanliness, keep trip records, and report vehicle issues while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

This role may include light administrative duties when not driving, requiring a High School Diploma and a valid New York driver's license. CDL is preferred but not required; willingness to work at multiple locations is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• CDL preferred, not required.
• May need to operate a GPS or read a map.
• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks without supervisory oversight.
• Willingness to work in multiple locations each day.
• Ability to multitask and to work and function under pressure.
• Valid New York State Driver License (Clean).

Responsibilities

• Safely drives all company vehicles to transport clients, patients, residents and/or employees on company business.
• Transports supplies, equipment and personnel as needed to satellite facilities.
• Maintains cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Keeps accurate record of all trips.
• Ensures vehicle maintenance is performed.
• May assist with administrative duties when not driving.
• Operates vehicle in a safe fashion and in compliance with driving regulations.
• Performs vehicle condition inspections and cleaning at start and end of shift.
• Maintains vehicle in compliance with Vehicle Management Policy.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The driver is responsible to drive the company issued automobiles to transport clients, patients, and employees, etc. to various destinations. The driver may also be responsible to perform miscellaneous duties, such as the carrying supplies to and from. Responsible for maintaining the maintenance and good condition of the vehicle.

KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Safely drives all company vehicles/mobile units to transport clients, patients, residents and/or employees on company business
• Transports supplies, equipment and personnel as needed to satellite facilities
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle
• Keeps accurate record of all trips
• Is aware of vehicle maintenance needs and insures it is performed
• Must be courteous to all passengers in the vehicle
• May be required to assist with administrative duties when not driving
• Service company vehicles by taking to scheduled maintenance/service appointments
• Operate the company vehicle in a safe fashion and in compliance with all driving regulations
• Perform vehicle condition inspections and cleaning of the vehicle at start and end of every shift
• Maintain vehicle in compliance with Vehicle Management Policy
• Other duties in keeping with the scope and nature of the position requested by supervisor
