Job summary

SEKO Logistics in Mount Prospect, IL seeks a professional Delivery Driver with a Class A or B CDL to join our route-based fleet. You will perform daily pre-trip inspections, load and unload cargo, ensure proper securing of goods, and communicate delays or schedule changes to dispatch.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, knowledge of GPS navigation, and reliable performance on early-morning shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 2-5 years driving experience in a distribution environment.
• Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License and acceptable MVR required.
• Must be Department of Transportation (DOT) certified.
• Experience with route delivery/driving preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive established routes to deliver products to assigned locations.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicle.
• Load and unload cargo and ensure cargo is secured properly.
• Communicate changes to delivery schedules, delays, or equipment problems to dispatch.
• Follow traffic laws and maintain vehicle and equipment in good order.
• Work flexible hours including early morning starts and possible overtime.
• Complete all required paperwork daily (DVIR, logs, etc.).
• Comply with SEKO’s C-TPAT Security Profile and safety procedures.

Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).**Compensation**The base salary compensation range being offer for this role is $25 - $36 USD per hour.
