Job summary

gomedstar is seeking drivers to join CareStar Transportation in Arizona. This independent contractor position offers revenue and performance-based pay structure. Responsibilities include safely transporting clients and ensuring vehicle cleanliness.

Applicants must be over 21, possess a valid Driver’s License, and pass drug screening and background checks. Plus, a positive attitude and availability from Monday-Sunday, 4AM-9PM is required.

• Must pass a DOT drug screening and mandatory criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly and effectively with dispatch.
• Transport clients safely and securely using a company vehicle.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR DRIVERS TO JOIN OUR CARESTAR TEAM!

This is a 1099 independent contractor position with revenue and performance-based pay structure. No base salary.

Please note that CareStar Transportation has contracted with Medstar Transportation in Washington State to facilitate administrative services for the Company. Despite this arrangement, your direct affiliation will be with CareStar Transportation in Arizona. Our Company is NOT affiliated with Medstar Medical Transport in Arizona.

REQUIREMENTS

• Be over the age of 21 (licensed for at least 5 years)
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Must NOT have more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years
• Must pass a DOT drug screening and mandatory criminal background check
• Must be willing to work weekends
• Must be physically able to secure clients in wheelchairs or other devices
• Must have a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others
• Must have an open availability from Monday-Sunday, 4AM-9PM

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicate clearly and effectively with dispatch
• Utilize a smartphone for job functions
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain vehicle cleanliness
• Transport clients safely and securely using a company vehicle
• Perform other services as assigned

HIRING PROCESS (GET HIRED WITHIN 1–3 DAYS!)

• Submit your application.
• Receive an invitation for Mobility Driver Introduction (MDI) via text or email within the week.
• Attend a one-hour Mobility Driver Introduction (MDI) and pass the background check.
• Once cleared, receive a drug screening link via email.
• Complete virtual classroom training and other paperwork.
• Attend a 5-day PAID in-vehicle training with a trainer in your assigned area.
• Get signed off and start driving!
