Job summary

Rogue Valley Manor in Southern Oregon seeks a Part-Time Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for residents, helping them stay connected to the community. You will transport residents to appointments, outings, and activities, assist with boarding, and maintain documentation.

The role requires a valid driver’s license with a clean record; prior driving or customer service experience is preferred. Benefits include PTO, a 401(k) with employer match, and perks such as an onsite fitness

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and insurability requirements.
• Prior professional driving, transportation, customer service, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate passenger vehicles, buses, or community transportation vehicles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to serving older adults.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents safely to appointments, shopping destinations, community outings, and scheduled activities.
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles while providing exceptional customer service.
• Conduct vehicle safety inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate transportation schedules, trip logs, and related documentation.
• Support resident events and outings while ensuring a safe and positive transportation experience.

Rogue Valley Manor is Southern Oregon’s premier not-for-profit Life Plan Community, offering exceptional amenities, beautiful surroundings, and a welcoming environment for residents, guests, and team members.

We are seeking a Part-Time Driver to provide safe, reliable, and courteous transportation services while helping residents maintain their independence and stay connected to the community.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Transport residents safely to appointments, shopping destinations, community outings, and scheduled activities.
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles while providing exceptional customer service.
• Conduct vehicle safety inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate transportation schedules, trip logs, and related documentation.
• Support resident events and outings while ensuring a safe and positive transportation experience.

Pay: $16.00 to $18.00 / hr DOE

About You

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to meet insurability requirements.
• Previous professional driving, transportation, customer service, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate passenger vehicles, buses, or community transportation vehicles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to serving older adults.
• Dependable, organized, and able to remain calm and professional in varying situations.
