Job summary

Rogue Valley Manor in Southern Oregon is seeking a Part-Time Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for residents, helping maintain their independence and connection to the community.

You will transport residents to appointments, outings, and events, assist with boarding and exiting vehicles, and keep clear trip logs and vehicle safety checks. The role emphasizes compassionate service and teamwork in a not-for-profit Life Plan community.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous professional driving or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to operate passenger vehicles safely.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents safely to appointments, shopping, outings and activities.
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles.
• Conduct vehicle safety inspections and report issues promptly.
• Maintain transportation schedules and trip logs.

We are seeking a Part-Time Driver to provide safe, reliable, and courteous transportation services while helping residents maintain their independence and stay connected to the community.

What You'll Be Doing

• Transport residents safely to appointments, shopping destinations, community outings, and scheduled activities.
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles while providing exceptional customer service.
• Conduct vehicle safety inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate transportation schedules, trip logs, and related documentation.
• Support resident events and outings while ensuring a safe and positive transportation experience.

Pay: $16.00 to $18.00 / hr DOE

About You

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to meet insurability requirements.
• Previous professional driving, transportation, customer service, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate passenger vehicles, buses, or community transportation vehicles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to serving older adults.
• Dependable, organized, and able to remain calm and professional in varying situations.
