Qualifications

Pay starts at $15/hour with the opportunity to earn more based on experience.

As a Driver for Country Meadows, you will be spending one‑on‑one time with our amazing residents, getting to know them and learning about their lives. You are responsible for their safe transportation to and from appointments, but you are also a companion for the resident, offering support and friendly conversation as needed.

• PRN – Per Diem during the hours of 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Driver Responsibilities

• Drive residents to and from appointments according to the transportation schedule and the needs of the facility or campus, using the designated Country Meadows vehicle.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle when necessary; also assist residents into and/or out of the destination when necessary.
• Ensure that any resident paperwork is dropped off at each physician’s office and returned to the nurse’s office upon the resident’s return.
• Act as a supportive member of the wellness team, encouraging independence while providing support as needed.
• Inspect the car daily to ensure no safety issues require immediate attention.

Driver Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License with no major traffic violations in the past three years.
• Familiarity with general locations and roads in the area.
• Ability to understand and speak English at a level that allows safe, efficient performance of the job.
• Ability to perform under emergency situations.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this role.
