Job summary

Lutheran SeniorLife is seeking a Driver for the Mars, PA area. The role involves casual, hourly shifts from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with at least 2 shifts per month, supporting LIFE programs and community services across western Pennsylvania.

A $1,000 sign-on bonus is paid over the first year. Responsibilities include safe transportation of residents, and relaying pertinent care-plan information to the interdisciplinary team.

Driver

This is a casual Driver position - $1,000 Sign-On Bonus (to be paid throughout the first year of employment).

Butler County, Mars, PA

Driver rates start at $16.00 per hour.

Casual, Hourly, Daylight shift, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at least 2 shifts per month.

LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly); skilled nursing, home health; personal care; adoption & foster care; assisted living; adult day services; memory care; hospice; palliative care; residential living; affordable housing; home safety monitoring; Meals on Wheels; rehabilitation services and private duty.

LIFE is a program that serves county residents living in Armstrong, Butler, Beaver and Lawrence Counties. It is an all-inclusive comprehensive program that helps individuals maintain their independence in their home and community through supportive services. The LIFE programs offer an array of person-centered services from medical care to adult day supports with the primary goal of allowing individuals to remain in their own home.

The Driver is responsible for providing safe transportation to residents/participants in a timely, competent manner and communicating important information relevant to the overall care plan to the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Driver requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience preferred in driving a passenger bus.
