Cornerstones of Care in Kansas City is seeking a Driver to safely transport clients, belongings, medications, and required documents to designated locations such as agency offices, placement homes, community appointments, court, and family visitation.

You will provide a friendly and safe environment in transit, ensure on-time pickups and arrivals, use appropriate car seats for infants and children, and monitor and document behavior during trips.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least 21 years old and able to pass background check, physical, and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of current vehicle insurance.

We are seeking a Driver to join our team.Hourly Range: $17.50 - $20.00The Driver role will safely transport clients, personal belongings, medication, and appropriate documentation to specific locations as identified. Locations could include but are not limited to other agency office locations, placement provider homes, community appointments, court, and family visitation. As a member of the KS Foster Care team, you will work with 10 other team members and report to our Transportation Manager.WHAT YOU WILL DO:Provide a friendly and safe environment for children while in transit.Provide on-time pick-up and arrival for all transport.Utilize car safety seats for infants and children according to designated standards.Monitor and document child’s behavior and activities while in transit.WHAT YOU WILL BRING:Our ideal candidate will have relevant experience working with children and the following:High school diplomaAt least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical, and drug screeningA valid driver’s license, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.WHO WE ARE:Cornerstones of Care is a mental and behavioral health nonprofit certified in trauma-informed care that provides evidence-based prevention, intervention, treatment, and support services to help children and families improve their safety and health by making positive changes in their lives.
