Genesis in Huntington, WV is seeking a Driver to safely transport patients, families and staff to appointed destinations from our nursing center. You will ensure passenger safety, assist with boarding and maintain route logs while staying courteous and responsive to passengers.

Responsibilities include reporting vehicle issues, monitoring fuel levels and supporting a compassionate, patient-centered environment. Competitive benefits and on-demand pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license with an excellent driving record.

Responsibilities

• Join our team as a Driver where you will be responsible for the safe transportation of patients, families and employees to and from the nursing center for approved appointments and activities to pre-determined destinations.
• Operate the nursing center vehicle in a safe manner when transporting patients, families and employees insuring that all passengers follow safety procedures.
• Assist patients, their families and employees when boarding and disembarking the vehicle.
• Maintain route and mileage logs.
• Monitor and replenish vehicles fuel and other fluids.
• Report any vehicle problems or maintenance needs to the Nursing Home Administrator.
• Interact in a positive manner with patients and families.
