Job summary

G&H Diversified Manufacturing LP is seeking a driver to deliver parts between shops, vendors, and customers in a fast-paced environment. You will load and unload materials with a forklift, strap and secure loads, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

Responsibilities include strict adherence to DOT and company safety rules, open communication with supply chain and shop leads, and performing additional duties as needed, including overtime on weekends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years driving experience.
• Valid CDL driver's license.
• Ability to back into tight places with gooseneck equipment.
• Willing to work overtime, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts safely between shops, to and from outside vendors, and to and from customers as assigned.
• Load material using a forklift and unload material securely with strapping.
• Maintain truck and other equipment cleanliness.
• Maintain open communication with supply chain and shop leads.

Description

PURPOSE:

In accordance with company policies and procedures, the G&H driver provides value within the fast-paced environment of G&H Diversified Mfg., LP (G&H) by supporting G&H production and process in compliance with the company and customer standards as assigned.

CRITICAL FUNCTIONS:

1. 1. Responsible for delivering parts safely in between shops, to and from outside vendors, and to and from customers as assigned.
2. 2. Responsible for loading material using a forklift, unloading material using a forklift, and ensuring material is safely secured using strapping.
3. 3. Responsible for maintaining truck and other equipment cleanliness.
4. 4. Responsible for maintaining open and transparent communication with supply chain and shop leads.
5. 5. Responsible for strict compliance to DOT and company safety regulations.
6. 6. Other duties as business dictates or as assigned.

NON-SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:

1. 1. Responsible for working in varying weather conditions.
2. 2. Responsible for moving throughout the work environment and performing assigned duties for up to 12-hour shifts, as required.
3. 3. Responsible for completing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles.

Requirements

1. 1. 3+ years driving experience.
2. 2. Ability to drive a 36-foot gooseneck, and to back into tight places with gooseneck equipment on truck.
3. 3. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
4. 4. Valid CDL driver’s license.
5. 5. Experience operating a forklift is preferred, but not required.
6. 6. Must be available to work overtime, including weekends, if needed.
7. 7. Reliable transportation to and from work.
