Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling Inc is hiring a CDL Driver to service routes across Florida and surrounding areas. You will operate a commercial vehicle, collect and deliver materials, and maintain safety protocols while representing Coastal professionally.

You will join a growing team focused on teamwork, safety, and customer service. The role may require overtime and varying schedules to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a vehicle on assigned routes.

• Report safety concerns, accidents, or delays promptly.
• Communicate with dispatch and operations throughout the day.

Your Role

As a CDL Driver ([Line of Business]), you’ll safely operate a [equipment type] while servicing customers along assigned routes. You’ll be responsible for safely collecting, transporting, delivering, or servicing materials while providing outstanding customer service and representing Coastal professionally every day.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate a [equipment type] on assigned routes.
• Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers based on assigned route.
• Collect, transport, deliver, exchange, or dispose of materials in accordance with operational procedures.
• Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely and efficiently.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, accidents, or route delays promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations throughout the day.
• Utilize onboard technology and electronic devices to complete route documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.

• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Coastal Waste & Recycling professionally.

What You’ll Bring

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and associated equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to safely climb, bend, squat, kneel, and enter/exit equipment throughout the workday.
• Willingness to work overtime and varying schedules as business needs require.
