Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling Inc. in Florida is hiring a CDL Automated Side Loader Driver to join a growing team. You will operate an automated side loader truck along assigned routes, delivering excellent service while maintaining safety and professionalism.

The role requires a valid CDL, a safe driving record, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather. You will complete pre- and post-trip inspections, document routes, and support teammates as needed to keep our communities clean.

Your Role

As a CDL Automated Side Loader Driver , you’ll safely operate a n Automated Side Loader Truck while servicing customers along assigned routes. You’ll be responsible for safely collecting, transporting, delivering, or servicing materials while providing outstanding customer service and representing Coastal professionally every day.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate a n Automated Side Loader Truck on assigned routes.

• Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers based on assigned route.

• Collect, transport, deliver, exchange, or dispose of materials in accordance with operational procedures.

• Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely and efficiently.

• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

• Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, accidents, or route delays promptly.

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations throughout the day.

• Utilize onboard technology and electronic devices to complete route documentation.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.

• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.

What You’ll Bring

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with an acceptable driving record.

• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and associated equipment.

• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds as needed.

• Ability to safely climb, bend, squat, kneel, and enter/exit equipment throughout the workday.

• Willingness to work overtime and varying schedules as business needs require.
