Job summary

Consolidated Electrical Distributors in Daytona Beach, FL, is seeking a part-time Driver to perform local deliveries and pickups. You will load and unload materials, drive safely, and maintain delivery records.

The role reports to the Warehouse Manager and requires flexibility with hours (6AM-5PM, Monday-Friday). Typical shifts are 20-25 hours per week, with compensation ranging from $15 to $18 per hour plus potential profit sharing.

Qualifications

• Ability to inspect, maintain, and operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to load and unload a delivery truck from ground level or platform.
• Ability to read and do math for correct order picking and paperwork.
• Ability to navigate via GPS / use delivery confirmation app.

Responsibilities

Description

Summary:

Delivery drivers make local-area deliveries and pick-ups to/from customers and suppliers. Drivers complete job duties by preparing, loading, unloading, operating and cleaning a truck; maintaining records; and helping to develop sales.

20-25 hours/ week

Variable working hours - Must be flexible with time: 6AM-5PM Monday - Friday.

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to inspect, maintain, and operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to load and unload a delivery truck from ground level or platform in a variety of warehouse and construction worksite situations.
• Ability to read and do math to correctly access warehouse materials for order picking, properly deliver orders, and correctly complete all paperwork for deliveries and pick-ups.
• Ability to navigate via GPS / use delivery confirmation application (via provided phone)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous truck/van delivery experience.
• CDL is not required.

Working Conditions:

Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures. Deliveries in all weather conditions including during extreme hot/cold, rain and other seasonal conditions.
