Job summary

Fissco Supply, a Dallas-based HVAC-R parts distributor, is seeking a Driver for our Garland/Mesquite operations. You will operate box trucks and vans to deliver goods across the DFW area, ensuring safety and compliance with DOT regulations while supporting warehouse duties.

The role requires 18+, a valid license, and the ability to pass a background/drug screen. Competitive compensation and company benefits are offered in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
• Fully prepared to complete a background and drug screen.
• Reliable transportation to and from the branch.
• Proven experience in truck driving and transportation management, including safe operation of light commercial vehicles.
• Knowledge of transit regulations and facility safety protocols.
• Familiar with warehousing operations and logistics workflows, route optimization using GPS and maps.
• Physically able to lift/move up to 70 pounds throughout shift.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles (box trucks and vans) to transport and deliver goods in the DFW area.
• Adhere to company policies, transportation safety, and DOT regulations.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes using GPS and mapping tools.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; document maintenance needs and hours of service.
• Manage end-to-end logistics including loading, unloading, and verifying inbound merchandise.
• Maintain cleanliness inside the vehicle and organize products for storage and retrieval.
• Support warehouse organization and safe material handling.

Fissco Supply is seeking a reliable Driver for our Garland/Mesquite, Texas locations. As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe transportation of products to various locations in the DFW area. Your responsibilities will be operating commercial vehicles such as a van or box truck, while adhering to all safety protocols as well as general warehouse duties. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to the overall efficiency of our supply chain and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license with a clean driving history
• Fully prepared to successfully complete a background and drug screen
• Have reliable transportation to and from the branch
• Proven experience in truck driving and transportation management, including the safe operation of light commercial motor vehicles such as box trucks and vans
• Comprehensive knowledge of transit regulations and facility safety protocols
• Highly familiar with warehousing operations and logistics workflows; skilled at route optimization using advanced GPS technology and physical map systems.
• Physically agile and capable of lifting, moving, and stacking up to 70 pounds on a consistent basis throughout a shift
• Self-motivated and customer-service orientated professional with sharp attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the capability to work efficiently under minimal supervision
