Job summary

Univar Solutions in Dallas is seeking a Driver to operate and maintain company vehicles for pickups and deliveries, including hazardous materials transport in compliance with all regulations.

You will load and unload cargo, complete required inspections and paperwork, and maintain travel and vehicle maintenance logs while supporting customers with timely service.

A CDL (Class A) with appropriate endorsements, English proficiency, and ability to work flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• Acquire and maintain Class A CDL with required endorsements.
• Must be able to read, write, count, understand and speak English.

Responsibilities

Position Title:

Driver

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Operates and maintains company vehicles to make pickups and deliveries. Transports hazardous materials and wastes in full compliance with applicable federal, state, local statutes and regulations and company policies.

• Make deliveries and pick-ups to and from customers on a timely basis.
• Loads and unloads cargo.
• Pick-up and delivery of hazardous materials and wastes, complete inspections and paperwork associated with hazardous materials and waste pickup transport.
• Maintains travel and vehicle maintenance logs.
• Perform all other duties as required to make proper deliveries and pick-ups for customers.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Acquire and maintain all required driver and other licenses, including Class “A” commercial driver’s license (CDL) with all required endorsements.
• Ability to use and maintain respiratory protections equipment as needed.
• Ability to read, write, count, understand and speak English
