Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a Driver to operate and maintain company vehicles for pickups and deliveries in Corpus Christi, TX. You will transport hazardous materials and wastes in compliance with regulations and company policies, and ensure timely deliveries to customers.

The role requires a Class A CDL with endorsements, ability to use respiratory protection equipment, and solid English reading/writing skills.

Qualifications

• Acquire and maintain all required driver licenses, including Class A CDL with endorsements.
• Ability to use and maintain respiratory protection equipment as needed.
• Ability to read, write, count, understand and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains company vehicles to make pickups and deliveries.
• Transports hazardous materials and wastes in full compliance with applicable federal, state, local statutes, regulations and company policies.
• Loads and unloads cargo and maintains travel and vehicle maintenance logs.
• Pick-up and delivery of hazardous materials and wastes, with required inspections and paperwork.
• Performs other duties as required to ensure proper deliveries and pickups for customers.

Driver

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Operates and maintains company vehicles to make pickups and deliveries. Transports hazardous materials and wastes in full compliance with applicable federal, state, local statutes and regulations and company policies.
• Make deliveries and pick-ups to and from customers on a timely basis.
• Loads and unloads cargo.
• Pick-up and delivery of hazardous materials and wastes, complete inspections and paperwork associated with hazardous materials and waste pickup transport.
• Maintains travel and vehicle maintenance logs.
• Perform all other duties as required to make proper deliveries and pick-ups for customers.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Acquire and maintain all required driver and other licenses, including Class “A” commercial driver’s license (CDL) with all required endorsements.
• Ability to use and maintain respiratory protections equipment as needed.
• Ability to read, write, count, understand and speak English
