Job summary

Univar Solutions in Ohio is seeking a Driver to operate and maintain company vehicles for pickups and deliveries, including hazardous materials, in full compliance with applicable regulations. You will be responsible for timely transfers and accurate paperwork.

Load and unload cargo, maintain travel and vehicle logs, and perform other duties as needed to ensure reliable service. A Class A CDL, the ability to read and follow safety protocols, and English proficiency are essential for this on-site

Qualifications

• Acquire and maintain Class A CDL.
• Ability to use and maintain respiratory protection equipment as needed.
• Ability to read, write, count, understand and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains company vehicles to make pickups and deliveries.
• Transports hazardous materials and wastes in full compliance with applicable federal, state, local statutes and regulations and company policies.
• Make deliveries and pick-ups to and from customers on a timely basis.

• Maintains travel and vehicle maintenance logs.

Position Title: Driver

WHAT YOU’LL DO: Operates and maintains company vehicles to make pickups and deliveries. Transports hazardous materials and wastes in full compliance with applicable federal, state, local statutes and regulations and company policies.

• Perform all other duties as required to make proper deliveries and pick-ups for customers.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Acquire and maintain all required driver and other licenses, including Class “A” commercial driver’s license (CDL) with all required endorsements.
• Ability to use and maintain respiratory protections equipment as needed.
• Ability to read, write, count, understand and speak English
