Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in White Plains, NY is seeking a Driver to provide safe, caring transportation for residents. You’ll assist with boarding, manage wheelchair lifts, and ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness. The role emphasizes resident safety, reliability, and positive community experiences.

• HS Diploma or GED and age 21+.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• CPR certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to appointments and outings.
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and to destinations.
• Maintain focus on safe driving at all times.
• Conduct pre-trip and monthly vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment.
• Complete required driving logs and documentation.
• Report resident changes in condition.
• Follow OSHA, infection control, and safety standards.
• Assist with activities when not driving.

What We’re Looking For:

• HS Diploma/GED; age 21
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

• Ability to remain calm in emergencies
• Ability to operate wheelchair lift and secure mobility devices

Pay Range:

18.50 - 23.25
