Job summary

Mountain Motorsports LLC is seeking a full-time Driver in Chattanooga, TN to handle transportation tasks and support our dealership operations. The role requires 1–3 years of driving experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to tow a trailer.

You will follow safety procedures, coordinate loads, and assist with event setup as needed. Candidates should be prepared to work long hours, comply with all laws, and progress toward obtaining a motorcycle license within 90 days.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Salary Range: $15.00 To $17.00 Hourly

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

TASKS: Successfully complete all tasks related to transportation as instructed, in ways that support the overall image and reputation of the company.

EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE: Effectively maintain equipment in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.

Follow Mountain Motorsports procedures for transporting units. Including but not limited to the tie down process, paperwork requirements and loading/unloading.

Drive as needed to complete dealer transfers.

Accurately tie down units for safe transport.

Ability to drive and tow a trailer.

Notify necessary department manager about transport or on site damage to units, company vehicles or building

Obey the State and Federal laws of vehicle use on public roads and highways.

Organize routes to utilize as little time as possible

When not on the road the driver will be responsible for assisting the set up team with responsibilities including but not limited to housekeeping items such as, sweeping and clearing debris from the parking lot, washing units, moving crates, building units and operating the forklift

Regular Attendance is required to meet the needs of the customers and the company

Assist as needed with event load in and load out. This includes after hours events.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Language Skills Ability to communicate clearly and effectively including in stressful or emergency situations. Ability to use computer software programs to complete additional daily tasks.

Reasoning Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Making judgments in emergencies. Making decisions on facts and on judgements.

Work Experience Requirements 1 to 3 years of driving experience. Must have a clean Motor Vehicle record and the ability to be insured under the company liability insurance .

• Driving experience towing a trailer
• Must be willing to obtain motorcycle license within 90 days of employment

Time Management Skills to include the ability to navigate geographical areas including knowledge of the shortest routes, least traffic and congestion etc..

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Regular attendance during normal scheduled store hours including the ability to work 9+ hours per day and the ability to work weekends.

Frequent standing, walking and sitting

The ability to work in a high stress environment and the ability to work under tight deadlines which may require longer/later hours as needed.

The ability to continually engage and interact with others, including clients and employees throughout the work day via various methods of communications including phone and computer usage.

Occasional lifting of up to 40-60 lbs

Occasional pushing of up to 100+ lbs
