Job summary

Cantex Senior Communities is seeking a Van Driver in Texas to transport residents to physician and dialysis appointments and arranged outings. You will maintain the vehicle and ensure that all records are up to date.

Requirements include a valid Texas Driver's License, CNA certification, CPR card, and fluency in English. Benefits include 401K with match, CEU reimbursement, vacation, sick leave, holidays, medical and dental coverage.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Texas Driver's License.
• Must pass DMV driving record inquiry.
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• CPR Training Card required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to prearranged physician and/or dialysis appointments and scheduled outings.
• Maintain and coordinate a weekly vehicle usage schedule with the Executive Director and DON.
• Keep the vehicle clean and in good repair; ensure registration, inspection, and insurance are current.
• Maintain required operation documents (ownership, proof of insurance, logs, maintenance).
• Adhere to Cantex Senior Communities Drug & Abuse Prevention policies.
