Job summary

Westview Care Center in Iowa is seeking a daytime driver to join a friendly, caring team. You will transport residents to appointments and activities, ensuring safety and comfort while maintaining a clean vehicle.

This role may be PRN/as needed and offers opportunities for growth and a supportive work environment. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license with a solid driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Prior driver experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to appointments and activities outside the facility.
• Transport residents to and from events while ensuring safety.
• Keep the vehicle clean, sanitized and in good working order.
• Assist residents with mobility and ensure comfort during transit.

As a Driver you will assist our residents in receiving the specialized care they need. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Westview Care Center by transporting them to and from appointments outside of the facility, transporting residents to and from activities and functions, and ensuring a clean, sanitized and safe environment in the facility vehicle. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, unencumbered Driver's License or other motor vehicle operator license as required by the State of Iowa. All drivers are required by state law to have a Class D Chauffeur License or a Class C Commercial License. Prior Driver experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
