Job summary

Park Street in California seeks a Class C driver for a dynamic wine & spirits logistics operation. You will assemble and load customer orders, maintain route records, and ensure delivery accuracy while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, multiple-stop deliveries, and using a mobile TMS to capture PODs. Expect 15–25 stops daily and occasional overtime during peak periods.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid state issued driver’s license.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience of route delivery or similar environment.
  • Must know how to use and fill out hours of service logs.
  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a DOT Medical Certificate.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Strong time-management, interpersonal communication, attention to detail, and customer service skills.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
  • Ability to apply basic math skills with or without calculator.
  • Knowledge of area and an ability to operate GPS technology/apps.
  • Use safe lifting and loading techniques including ability to push and lift items with varying degrees of weight.
  • Previous delivery and distribution experience in the food and beverage industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a class C vehicle to pick up orders from suppliers or make deliveries.
  • Manage inventory for returns and rollovers in a cross dock facility
  • Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections
  • Verify all loads to ensure full and accurate customer deliveries
  • Securely load and unload vehicle for multi-stop deliveries
  • Maintain interior of vehicle organized and clean
  • Route plan, follow delivery schedule, and adjust planned drives to manage delays as necessary
  • Use our TMS system on a mobile device to update delivery status and capture PODs
  • Call in any exceptions while on-site at pickup or delivery location
  • Report to the Warehouse manager any incidents, accidents, injuries, traffic violations, or property damage
  • Provide high quality level of service at delivery location and resolve customer concerns regarding spoilage, breakage, and incorrect product delivery
  • Provide customers with invoices, obtain delivery signatures, and collect accounts receivable as necessary
  • Adhere to applicable regulatory requirements and guidelines including but not limited to DOT, FMCSA, and FDOT
  • Be prompt and on time for every scheduled shift
  • Work overtime as needed
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned

Job Summary

An opportunity exists for a Class C driver in a dynamic wine & spirits logistics operation. This position will be responsible for assembling and loading customer orders onto a vehicle to complete delivery cycle, maintaining accurate route records, ensuring customer satisfaction with order fulfillment, product quality, complying with company safety standards, state and federal regulations, and warehouse delivery procedures. On average there will be 15-25 stops each day.

Primary Job Duties
