Job summary

McKenney's Inc. is hiring a dependable Delivery Driver to transport construction materials to jobsites across the Atlanta area. You will inspect trucks and trailers before departures, assist with loading, deliver on schedule, and keep fuel and daily logs up to date for manager review.

You must navigate sites safely and ensure all loads are secured in transit. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, CDL Class A license, and at least three years of commercial driving experience in

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Five years' experience as a commercial driver for construction company
• Basic computer knowledge

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Good knowledge of the Atlanta and/or Charlotte area
• Experience in the construction industry

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORTS

• Work involves moderate exposure to elements, such as hot/cold temperatures, dirt, dust, and/or loud noises.
• Work environment involves moderate exposure to construction warehouse hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
• Moderate physical effort. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 75 pounds and extensive sitting. Some walking and standing.
