Job summary

DILE Trucking LLC in Georgia is seeking a professional Local/Regional Truck Driver to safely operate a commercial vehicle within a 300-mile radius and support timely deliveries. CDL and TWIC card are required, with a clean driving record.

There are sign-on and referral bonuses, plus safety and performance-based bonuses; competitive benefits and a team-focused environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• TWIC card required.
• Minimum 2 years ocean container drayage experience preferred.
• No more than 6 points in last 3 years.
• Clean background check.
• Driving test required.
• No DUI/DWI in last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods within a 300-mile radius.
• Ensure proper documentation for shipments.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, chassis & trailer.
• Maintain accurate logs of hours, routes, and deliveries.
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, clients, and warehouse staff.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Report vehicle issues or delays promptly.
• Utilize electronic dispatches for daily planning.
• Inspect vehicles before and after each trip.
• Secure cargo to prevent damage or shifting during transit.
• Maintain records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery details.
• Coordinate deliveries with dispatchers and team members.

• Utilize electronic dispatches for daily plan.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in proper working order.
• Secure cargo for transport to prevent damage or shifting during transit.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery details.
• Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Houry)

Skills/Abilities

• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus.
• Excellent driving skills and the ability to navigate different road conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers and team members effectively.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions on the road.
