Job summary

LRS is seeking a dependable Driver / Laboratory Equipment Mover to join our team in the Baltimore, Maryland area. This full-time position offers an hourly wage of $22.00–$26.00 depending on experience and is focused on safely transporting and moving valuable laboratory equipment for universities, hospitals, biotech and pharma facilities.

No prior laboratory equipment experience is required as LRS will provide training for the right candidate.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely operate LRS company trucks and vehicles.
• Transport laboratory and scientific equipment between customer locations.
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment.
• Move freezers, refrigerators, centrifuges, biosafety cabinets, and other lab instruments.
• Secure equipment for transportation.
• Use liftgates, pallet jacks, dollies, straps, ramps, and other handling tools.
• Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain clean, professional vehicles.
• Protect customer equipment, facilities, floors, walls, elevators, and doorways during moves.
• Follow LRS safety procedures and customer site requirements.
• Communicate professionally with customers and other LRS staff.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation.
• Assist crew members when not actively driving.

LRS is looking for a dependable, professional Driver / Laboratory Equipment Mover to join our growing team.

This is not a traditional delivery-driver position. Our drivers are an important part of our equipment relocation crews and help safely transport and move valuable laboratory and scientific equipment for universities, hospitals, biotechnology companies, pharmaceutical companies, research facilities, and other organizations.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up on time, takes care of company equipment, and understands the importance of providing professional service to our customers.

Previous laboratory equipment experience is not required. LRS will train the right candidate.

$22.00-$26.00 per hour, based on experience

Candidates with previous box-truck, moving, equipment-handling, delivery, logistics, or similar experience may qualify for the higher end of the pay range.
