Genesis HealthCare in Albuquerque, NM is hiring a Driver to support patient and staff transportation Thursday through Monday. This role requires safe operation of the nursing center vehicle and courteous interaction with patients and families.

You will transport patients, families and employees to appointments, assist with boarding, maintain route logs, and monitor vehicle health. A valid driver's license and a high school diploma or equivalent are required.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license with an excellent driving record.
• High school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients, families and employees to and from the nursing center for approved appointments and activities.
• Operate the nursing center vehicle in a safe manner and ensure passengers follow safety procedures.
• Assist patients and families when boarding and disembarking the vehicle.
• Maintain route and mileage logs.
• Monitor and replenish vehicle fuel and fluids and report maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

Join our team as a Driver where you will be responsible for the safe transportation of patients, families and employees to and from the nursing center for approved appointments and activities to pre-determined destinations.

Operate the nursing center vehicle in a safe manner when transporting patients, families and employees insuring that all passengers follow safety procedures.

Assist patients, their families and employees when boarding and disembarking the vehicle.

Maintain route and mileage logs.

Monitor and replenish vehicles fuel and other fluids.

Report any vehicle problems or maintenance needs to the Nursing Home Administrator.

Interact in a positive manner with patients and families.

Posted Salary Range
