Qualified candidates have MA training or related military or apprenticeship credentials, Washington MA certification on hire, BLS within 30 days, and at least 6 months healthcare and MA experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program or equivalent.
• Completion of a recognized medical support apprenticeship or military medical training.
• MEETS Washington MA certification requirement upon hire.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire; 6 months healthcare experience; 6 months MA experience.

Responsibilities

• Support providers and manage patient flow in clinic operations.
• Contribute to efficient clinic operations and patient care delivery.
• Interface with patients and clinical staff to optimize visit throughput.

Education

Medical Assistant training (accredited)

Registered medical assistant apprenticeship program

US Armed Forces medical training (2 years)
