Job summary

Safeway in Fairfield, CA is seeking an In Store Shopper (Drive Up & Go Clerk) to pick, quality-check, and assemble online orders for pickup or delivery. You’ll move through the store to select items, bag them, and ensure accuracy and freshness.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior retail, customer service, or fulfillment experience preferred.
• Ability to use handheld devices and follow digital order systems
• Strong attention to detail for product quality and order accuracy
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Compliance with company policies including safety, sanitation and dress standards

Responsibilities

• Select high-quality items across departments to fulfill online orders.
• Keep orders organized and ready for pickup or delivery.
• Bag items carefully and manage substitutions when needed.
