Albertsons Safeway in Snoqualmie, WA is seeking a Home Shopper to assemble online orders from store shelves and prepare them for pickup or delivery. You will use a handheld device to check items, locate products across ambient, chilled, and frozen sections, and stage completed orders for handoff to delivery drivers or customers.

The Home Shopper provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service. The Home Shopper, using a computer, is responsible for compiling online merchandise orders for customers. Using a handheld computer, the Home Shopper will retrieve items from the shelves to fill the online order and then bag the requested items. Once the order is complete, the Home Shopper will return to the processing area to stage the order. Depending on the method of delivery the customer has selected the Home Shopper will either take the order to the customers car or hand it off to a delivery driver to be taken to a delivery location when the customer or delivery driver arrives at the store. The Home Shopper is responsible for the accurate and timely assembly of customers' online product orders from the store shelves.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Provide customer service as currently defined by the employer within the scope of the position and within company policy.
• Operate handheld computer/scanning unit to check in item from the order, ensuring the merchandise matches the order.
• Ability to identify and locate items in a proficient manner within the three categories of the store (ambient, chilled, and frozen).
• Monitor the processing of all customers orders to ensure customers receive all products that have been ordered/charged for.
• Monitor/review the picking of orders to ensure time commitments are met.
• Bag grocery items and place them into bins.
• Push filled cart to the DUG area to be staged on to hand trucks.
• Push loaded hand truck to customer vehicle for handoff..
• Maintain cleanliness of store and DUG area.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to provide regular and predictable attendance. (Employees may be scheduled to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, and schedules may vary on a weekly basis)
