Job summary

DriveTime Transports is seeking CDL-A truck drivers for a dedicated weekly account in the Edison, NJ area. Drivers must have 3 months of current verifiable OTR in the last year or 6 months of local experience, or a mix of OTR/ regional/ local in the past year. Weekly pay averages $1,300–$1,500 on this lane.

Pay uses a tiered system based on miles, with no-touch freight and urine drug testing. Clean driving record and eligibility for DOT safety rules are required to qualify for this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months CDL-A tractor trailer experience verifiable.
• No more than 2 MV's (moving violations) in the last 2 years.
• No more than 1 on-road or DOT preventable loss in the last 2 years.
• No DUI/DWI within the past 10 years if the offense occurred while holding a CDL-A or permit.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight on a dedicated weekly account with varying weekly miles.
• Maintain safe driving practices and meet on-time delivery requirements.

DRIVER MUST HAVE 3 months current verifiable OTR experience in the last year OR 6 months verifiable local experience or a combination of OTR/regional/local in the past year

CONSISTENT FREIGHT ON THIS DEDICATED ACCOUNT

Weekly miles will fluctuate based on freight mixture for that week.

Average weekly paycheck for the lane is between $1300 - $1500.

Pay is based on the tiered system below:

• 0-50 Miles - $80 Flat Rate (1% of freight mix)
• 51 - 80 Miles - $1.25/Mile (2% of freight mix)
• 81 - 250 Miles - $0.80/Mile (28% of freight mix)
• 251+ Miles - $0.65/Mile (69% of freight mix)

• No DUI/DWI within the past 10 years if the offense occurred while they held a CDL-A or Commercial Learners Permit. No DUI/DWI within the last 5 years if the offense occurred prior to getting a CDL-A
