Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Texas is seeking an energetic Restaurant Team Member to deliver fast, friendly service, take orders, and assemble menu items with care. You’ll help keep the dining area clean and ensure food quality meets Sonic standards.

In a busy, guest-focused environment, you’ll work across stations, adapt to varying shifts, and support teammates to deliver a great customer experience. Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays is essential, and a positive attitude is valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills; basic math and reading skills.
• Willingness to abide by appearance, uniform and hygiene standards.
• General knowledge of food service industry or retail operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Taking orders and making accurate change quickly
• Providing food service to guests with enthusiasm
• Packaging all menu items and checking for quality and consistency
• Preparing drinks and ice cream treats
• Preparing food orders, cooking on the grill, operating fry station as needed
• Cleaning the drive-in restaurants—including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, wiping counters and sanitizing food areas
