Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking a General Manager in Cedar Park, Texas to lead drive-in operations, train crew and management, and ensure safe, efficient service. You will develop staffing plans, monitor inventory, and drive guest satisfaction with a strong service mindset.

The role requires at least two years of QSR leadership, ability to work long hours including nights and weekends, and proficiency in basic accounting and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Experience running shifts without supervision.
• Ability to work a minimum 5 day workweek with irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and selection practices.
• Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and local health/sanitation laws.
• Leadership and supervisory skills; strong verbal and written communication.
• Basic accounting and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, monitor and coach Crew/Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Direct and assign staff to meet operational standards.
• Prepare staff schedules and adjust staffing levels as needed.
• Monitor inventory and place orders within cost-control procedures.
• Maintain payroll and employment records.
• Resolve guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Interview and hire restaurant crew and management staff.
• Prepare operational reports and develop action plans to address trends.
• Develop and implement a marketing plan.
