As a Cake Decorator, you'll apply proper decorating techniques and maintain quality of products by following guidelines. You'll prepare, package, and merchandise fresh product daily, while maintaining all department and food safety/sanitation standards.

Job Responsibilities
Customer Service
  • Provides superior customer service
  • Processes cake orders accurately, in person or via telephone
  • Assists customers with product questions and selections
  • Uses suggestive selling techniques to increase sales
Production
  • Applies decorating techniques per visual training aids (VTAs)
  • Writes on cakes with icing upon request
  • Follows daily production list and ensures quality control
  • Ensures timely display of products in the showcase
Food Service
  • Prepares, packages, and merchandises products effectively
  • Slices, labels, and rotates products
  • Records production and shrink for planning
Food Safety
  • Maintains sanitation in work area
  • Complies with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Operates and maintains equipment properly
Candidate Background
  • Minimum age 18
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience
  • Completion of company orientation and safety training
