The successful candidate will be a growth-oriented professional capable of leading multidisciplinary project teams through all project phases, from planning and design to construction, start-up, and operations. Our team of engineers, operations professionals, and SCADA specialists will support your delivery of exceptional client solutions. You will also participate in system improvement programs and practice initiatives.

Position Overview

The role involves working in a project team, reporting to Project and Technical Managers who oversee project leadership, scheduling, and task execution. Location is hybrid or remote within California, with approximately 5% travel.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support engineering efforts on drinking water projects; experience with wastewater and stormwater is advantageous.
  2. Lead and coordinate project tasks, develop schedules and budgets, and communicate proactively with project managers.
  3. Lead design efforts and oversee construction administration activities, including reviews and contractor communications.
  4. Utilize AutoCAD and guide design/drafting teams.
  5. Make engineering decisions independently or with oversight, managing multiple projects reliably and professionally.
  6. Mentor staff, review technical work, and collaborate with external suppliers and subcontractors.
  7. Engage with clients professionally, including fieldwork and construction site visits.
  8. Ensure compliance with all regulations and permits, and contribute to proposal development and professional organization participation.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $115,000 - $125,000 annually, adjusted based on experience and geographic location. Benefits include 401(k) matching, paid time off, sick leave, parental leave, disability insurance, health plans, wellness programs, and tuition assistance.
