Mid-level water process engineer role in water treatment. Focus on conventional water treatment processes such as coagulation, clarification, softening, media filtration, membrane filtration (microfiltration/ultrafiltration), reverse osmosis (brackish and seawater), UV/AOP, ozonation, carbon adsorption, and distribution system water quality. Experience in water reuse, brackish and seawater desalination, bench‑scale development, and pilot testing is desirable.
Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based on manager discretion, job performance, and work assignments.
Annual compensation ranges for this role: State of Virginia: $82,770 – $138,230. Final compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
