Job summary

Talon Metals Corp. in Minnesota is hiring a Driller Helper to support field drill operations on 12-hour shifts, two weeks on and one week off. No prior drilling experience is required, as full training is provided.

You may be required to travel to multiple project sites around Minnesota and Michigan. The role offers a salary range of $66,000 to $81,000 annually, comprehensive benefits including health insurance, HSA contributions, employer-covered insurance, and a 401(k) with employer match.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• No prior experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Drill Foreman and work safely in accordance with company policies.
• Assist drill operations including site setup, mixing drill muds, handling drill rods and core tubes.
• Remove and label core samples, preserve orientation in core boxes.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning and site maintenance.
• Use gas monitors and maintain water/lubricant systems at the drill site.
• Verify NSF approvals for downhole materials.
• Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude for equipment handling and repair.
