Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Drilling Helper/Mechanic role based in Davidsonville, MD. The Drilling Helper/Mechanic supports daily drilling operations by assisting with rig setup, loading and unloading materials, preparing tools, and maintaining a clean and safe worksite. The role includes helping operate drilling equipment under supervision, monitoring basic equipment functions, and handling drill pipe, casing, and other components. The mechanic responsibilities involve routine inspection, basic troubleshooting, and minor repairs of drilling rigs, trucks, pumps, and related mechanical systems. Daily tasks also include following safety procedures, supporting senior drillers and mechanics, documenting work performed, and occasionally interacting with customers in a professional manner.

• Basic mechanical aptitude for working with tools, engines, hydraulic systems, diesel engines and drilling equipment.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; ability to operate company vehicles as required. CDL and operating manual transmissions preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in construction, mechanical work, or drilling operations is preferred.
