Job summary

Onesubsea is seeking a Mechanical Technician to support maintenance and asset reliability at the Youngsville, LA site. The role emphasizes timely equipment delivery, adherence to maintenance programs, and participation in continuous improvement efforts within the Maintenance Base (MB).

You will log materials, labor, and performance history in the TLM systems, work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate to develop improved work processes for the department.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience working on drilling and measurement tools
• High school diploma or GED
• Solid communication skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department
• Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned equipment according to the maintenance program and compliant with the reliability centered maintenance strategy
• Adhere to transactional discipline within TLM systems to record materials and costs and performance history
• Comply with TLM Product Line standards
• Participate in continuous improvement culture and initiatives within the MB to improve asset utilization and cost of service delivery
• Participate in continuous improvement to improve asset turnaround time and reduce downtime
• Support continuous improvement to improve efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians
• Implement CoSD projects such as planned repair and reuse of parts
• Participate in failure investigations as assigned
• Comply with the TLM Competency Management System
