Job summary

International Drilling Equipment (IDE) in Nazareth, PA, is seeking a Field Service Technician to safely repair and service drilling equipment in shop and field environments. The role requires independence, problem solving, and adherence to safety and environmental standards while delivering high-quality workmanship.

You will read manuals and schematics, plan tasks, maintain records, and travel up to 80% annually to support IDE customers in the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain your own set of tools.
• Diagnostics, preventative maintenance, modifications, and repair on drilling equipment.
• Read operating and parts manuals and schematics.
• Plan methods and sequence of activities.
• Prepare daily records and documentation; ensure records are legible.
• Maintain shop tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and US passport or ability to acquire.
• Willing to travel up to 80% annually.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, preventively maintain, modify and repair drilling equipment in shop and field.
• Read and interpret manuals and schematics; plan task methods and sequence.
• Complete all activities as assigned; maintain proper documentation and records.
• Ensure safe, compliant operations and professional communication with customers.
• Maintain tools and equipment; enforce safety policies; contribute to morale.
