Ormat Technologies is seeking a well engineering professional to support safe, efficient drilling and workover operations across the Well Delivery Process. The role emphasizes planning, program development, and data management to inform field decisions.

You will collaborate with project managers, geologists, drilling crews and service providers to design well programs, monitor performance, and track costs. Travel and proactive problem-solving are expected.

Competenze

Experience in drilling engineering or related field.
Exposure to well planning, design, or field operations.
Fundamentals of well design, hydraulics, casing, cementing.
Ability to identify issues and support problem-solving with guidance.
Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Mansioni

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including PMs, geologists, and drilling personnel.
Assist in preparing well programs, procedures, and operational plans.
Support hydraulic, torque & drag analyses for safe operations.
Participate in pre-spud planning and risk identification.
Monitor operations and track costs and daily activities.
Maintain well files and data systems for accuracy and accessibility.
Utilize drilling software (RimBase, dashboards) for planning and reporting.
Support contract management and safety/regulatory compliance.
