Job summary

Fervo Energy Co. seeks a Drilling & Completions Data Technician to ensure data accuracy across operational systems and to build dashboards for reporting.

You will manage data flows from rigs and completions crews, turning raw information into reliable, actionable insights for real-time field decisions. This role supports a backbone of field execution, maintaining data integrity and quality across systems, with a strong focus on automation and process improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in drilling and completions data management or related technical roles.
• Familiarity with WellView or similar drilling data systems is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills; Power BI familiarity is a plus.
• Working knowledge of drilling and completions terminology and daily operations reports.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a day-to-day user of field data reporting systems, managing data entry standards and reporting templates.
• Maintain and quality-check daily drilling and completions reports, resolving discrepancies before reaching engineering teams.
• Maintain dashboards, spreadsheets, and reports tracking drilling performance, completions, and well costs.
• Keep wellbore diagrams, well files, and procedure documentation current and audit-ready.
• Partner with well site supervisors to ensure field software is configured and working.
• Support teams with data pulls for compliance requests.
