Anderson Environmental Contracting, LLC is seeking a motivated Driller’s Assistant to support our drilling team across the Pacific Northwest. This hands-on role involves equipment prep, maintenance, material handling, and field support, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

The position offers training, opportunities for certifications, and a path to advancement within a growing environmental construction company. Travel across the Northwest, with overnight stays, is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a field crew.
• Commitment to safety procedures and consistent attendance.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding drilling activities.
• Capable of working outdoors in varying weather and site conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Driller with setup, operation, and maintenance of drilling equipment and support vehicles.
• Mobilize and demobilize drilling rigs, tooling, materials, and supplies.
• Load, unload, organize, and transport drilling tools and equipment.
• Perform general labor and field-support activities as directed.
• Assist with drilling operations using sonic, auger, direct-push, and other methods.
• Handle drill rods, tooling, soil samples, drums, casing, and other materials.
• Assist with installation, completion, and abandonment of wells and boreholes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.
• Complete required daily documentation and safety forms on time.
• Participate in tailgate meetings and safety analyses.
