Job summary

Three Notch Group seeks a Field Services Technician in Andalusia, AL to support UST, Environmental, and Geotechnical projects with drill rig operations, groundwater sampling, and compliance testing.

You will operate field equipment, drive company vehicles, follow safety policies, and collaborate with senior staff to deliver quality results. CDL is preferred; overnight travel weekly may be required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • CDL preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Willingness to travel overnight weekly.

Responsibilities

  • Perform drill rig operations and monitoring of well installations.
  • Conduct groundwater sampling under supervision of senior staff.
  • Perform compliance testing as part of field activities.
  • Routinely operate construction machinery and drive company vehicles.
  • Follow company safety policies and Employee Handbook.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The mission of the Field Services Technician is to perform a variety of field activities in support of UST, Environmental, and Geotechnical services. These field activities include, but are not limited to, drill rig operations, groundwater sampling operations, and compliance testing.

Qualifications:

Skills:

  • Basic familiarity with hand tools.
  • Operate skid steering equipment to perform routine activities.
Physical Requirements:
  • Stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, talk, hear, sit climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to work extended hours.
  • Predominantly in outside weather conditions
  • Frequently works near moving machinery.
  • Overnight travel is required.
  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
  • Noise level is often loud.
