Job summary

Somerset Well Drilling of Friedens, PA, seeks an outdoor drilling assistant to support our well construction crews. The role is daytime, Monday through Friday, with overtime opportunities as needed. A valid Pennsylvania license and a clean background are required, plus DOT physical compliance.

CDL is a plus or the ability to obtain one; we provide no-cost CDL training. responsibilities include assisting the well driller on residential and commercial wells, with onsite duties and occasional

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years’ experience operating construction equipment.
• Valid PA driver’s license is required.
• Background check and DOT physical are required.
• CDL is a plus or ability to acquire one.
• Experience driving a truck with a manual (standard) transmission is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the well driller in constructing residential and commercial water wells.
• Work outdoors during daytime, Monday through Friday.
• Operate or assist with construction equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

Must be a reliable and responsible individual with a good attitude. At least 2-3 years’ experience operating construction equipment is required. Welding, electrical, and plumbing experience is a plus. This job primarily is working outdoors assisting the well driller in the construction of residential and commercial water wells. A valid PA license is a requirement of this position as is a background check and a DOT physical. Must have experience in driving a truck with a standard shift (clutch) transmission. A CDL is a plus or the ability to acquire one. We provide no-cost CDL training.
