Job summary

Valmet Inc. in Florence, AL has an immediate opening for a Drill Operator. You will work in our shop with a team of tradespeople, operating drill equipment and learning about world‑class products. Strong candidates will translate mechanical drawings and maintain precision while supporting the team to deliver quality results.

Standard hours are Tuesday–Friday 7am–5:30/6pm with overtime as needed; pay starts at $20+ per hour. Background check and pre-employment screening may apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certificate or diploma in machine shop.
• 2–3 years’ experience operating mills, saws, grinding and drills.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and documents.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
