Peabody is seeking a Drill Mechanicto join our Maintenance team at the North Antelope Rochelle Mine (NARM) in Wright, Wyoming. NARM is the largest surface coal mine in the world, producing high-quality thermal coal that is transported by haul truck and shipped by rail. The operation maintains approximately 465 million tons of coal reserves and plays a critical role in delivering reliable energy resources.

The Drill Mechanic is responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and inspection of drilling equipment utilized in surface mining operations. This role ensures drilling equipment is maintained in optimal operating condition to support production goals while adhering to all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. The Drill Mechanic diagnoses mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic issues, performs preventative and corrective maintenance, and works collaboratively with operations and maintenance personnel to minimize equipment downtime and maximize reliability.
