We are seeking a bilingual Drill Locator/Operator in Fort Wayne, IN to join our underground drilling team and support daily drilling operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the setup and operation of horizontal directional drilling (HDD) equipment;
  • Perform underground utility locating and marking to ensure safe drilling in compliance with project specifications;
  • Follow safety protocols and quality standards to support safe and accurate drilling operations;
  • Maintain accurate bore path logs and assist with jobsite documentation as directed;
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth execution of daily tasks;
  • Support restoration efforts and site cleanup following completion of drilling work;
  • Inspect and perform basic maintenance on drilling equipment to ensure proper functionality and readiness

Requirements

  • Fluency in both, English and Spanish required;
  • A valid, unrestricted CDL is a must;
  • 2+ years of experience in underground drilling operations (HDD);
  • Strong knowledge of HDD equipment, safety practices, and restoration work;
  • Prior experience leading field crews strongly preferred;
  • Willingness to travel as needed within the assigned region.
